How Should We Understand the Resurrection Narratives? Craig/Licona vs. Spangenberg/Wolmarans (2010)

Posted in Debates

In May 2010, a debate (How Should We Understand the Resurrection Narratives?) was held on the resurrection of Jesus at the University of Pretoria in front of a packed auditorium and overflow. The debate was later referred to as a “historic moment” for the Church in South Africa. Sakkie Spangenberg and Hansie Wolmarans are two founding members of the New Reformation Network, a group very similar to the Jesus Seminar in the United States. William Lane Craig and Mike Licona are conservative Christian scholars.
